At the Paris School of Economics conference “Shaping the Future of International Tax Cooperation,” ICRICT Commissioner José Antonio Ocampo emphasized that rules on cross-border services must extend beyond digital taxation.

His intervention came during a high-level discussion on how international taxation has become a central issue in global politics — from U.S. trade pressures on digital taxes and the global minimum tax, to ongoing negotiations for a UN Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation.
