At the Taxation, Inequality and Democracy in Latin America event in Paris, ICRICT Commissioner Ricardo Martner called for a framework of fiscal rationality in Chile — one that includes taxes on wealth. He warned that the hyper-concentration of wealth poses one of the greatest risks to democracy today.
